In 2017, Emirates became the second airline customer to adopt recycled polyester blankets designed and manufactured by our company. Thanks to Emirates\u2019 enormous influence and benchmark status within the global aviation industry, this milestone successfully galvanized the worldwide aviation sector to pursue environmental sustainability. Since then, recycled sustainable materials have become an essential procurement standard for airlines.<\/div>

Each blanket is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, consuming approximately 28 standard plastic bottles per unit. The project spanned three years, during which Jetstar placed a total order of 3 million blankets, recycling roughly 84 million plastic bottles in aggregate.
